The devastating earth quake on Haiti left a huge number of its people homeless, in despair . The images of tent camps, people living in terrible conditions for years and years to come, cling to our mind. Reconstruction is expected to take beyond this generation.
Based on this terrible outlook, Reno considered to develop emergency housing using ecological, durable materials. It is our believe and conviction we found the answer in the development of Sustainable Transitional Shelter Reno ® (STS).
On one hand the temporary/emergency STS house is the foundation to upgrade and enlarge to permanent housing; on the other hand STS is a logistical building process.
